Be thoughtful and respectful
Explain your reasoning, acknowledge uncertainty, respect different priorities, and focus on the decision creator’s question.
Do not post harmful content
Threats, harassment, hate or discriminatory content, doxxing, sexual exploitation, spam, illegal activity, and deliberately dangerous advice are prohibited.
Protect personal information
Do not share names, contact details, addresses, account information, workplaces, or other details that could identify you or someone else.
Community advice has limits
Perspectives come from community members. They are not verified professional legal, medical, financial, or emergency advice. You remain responsible for your choices.
Accountability
Public content is anonymous by design, but accounts privately connect activity to owners for security, reputation, abuse prevention, and moderation. Confirmed violations may result in content removal, reputation changes, restrictions, or account action.
Fair review
New content may receive an automated publication safety check. Reports are reviewed privately by a human and never cause punishment by themselves. Confirmed violations may lead to a warning, temporary restriction, permanent restriction, or content removal. A person may submit one appeal for an active restriction.
